Crochet Web Mandala No. 18 is a vibrant circular composition created from hundreds of repeated marks arranged in finely balanced concentric rings. The palette expands from a raspberry and deep-pink centre through bands of golden yellow, pale aqua, turquoise, teal, cobalt blue, olive, sage and mint green, before opening into broad outer rings of coral, rose, magenta and rich pink.
The small variations within each repeated mark preserve the organic, hand-rendered quality of the original artwork, while the radiating circular structure creates a strong sense of rhythm, movement and meditative balance. Generous white space surrounding the image allows the intricate pattern and luminous colour relationships to remain clear and visually distinct.
The reproduction is presented in a custom-made white timber frame, assembled using conservation-grade mounting and backing materials. It is protected by archival-quality acrylic glazing, while the broad white mat is raised approximately 5 mm above the print, creating a subtle recessed presentation and additional visual depth.
