This Shipping Policy applies to purchases made through the Enigmatic Drawings website, including Premium Prints, Fine Art Limited Editions, and other artwork-related products.
Enigmatic Drawings is operated by George Allan. For shipping enquiries, delivery issues, tracking questions, or order concerns, contact info@enigmaticdrawings.com.
Important: Shipping methods, production pathways, carrier services, tracking availability, and delivery timeframes may vary depending on the product ordered, destination, fulfilment provider, production method, and courier or postal service used.
1. Fulfilment pathways
Enigmatic Drawings may fulfil orders through more than one pathway, depending on the product purchased.
Premium Prints may be produced and shipped through external print-on-demand production and fulfilment partners. These orders may be printed and shipped from production facilities selected according to product type, destination, availability, and operational requirements.
Fine Art Limited Editions may be produced, checked, prepared, packaged, and shipped through specialist print or art-handling arrangements. These orders may involve additional preparation steps, including edition allocation, signing, numbering, certificate preparation, protective packaging, and direct communication with the buyer where appropriate.
Because fulfilment pathways differ, shipping details may vary between Premium Prints, Fine Art Limited Editions, and other artwork-related products.
2. Production before shipping
Many products are made to order. This means production time may apply before the item is shipped.
Production time is separate from delivery time. An estimated delivery timeframe, where shown, may include production, fulfilment, packing, dispatch, carrier handling, and delivery.
Production may begin shortly after an order is placed. Once an order has entered production or fulfilment, changes to shipping address, product selection, size, material, or other order details may not be possible.
3. Shipping estimates
Shipping times shown at checkout, on product pages, in order confirmations, or through fulfilment providers are estimates only.
Delivery estimates may be affected by:
- production time;
- product type and material;
- destination and delivery region;
- carrier or postal service availability;
- fulfilment provider processing times;
- public holidays;
- weather events;
- customs processing;
- remote or regional delivery locations;
- courier delays;
- incorrect or incomplete customer address details;
- unexpected production or supply delays; and
- circumstances outside our reasonable control.
We aim to process and fulfil orders professionally, but we do not guarantee delivery by a specific date unless expressly agreed in writing.
4. Tracking
Tracking information may be provided where available. Tracking availability depends on the product, fulfilment provider, shipping method, destination, carrier, and courier service used.
For Fine Art Limited Editions, we will generally aim to use tracked delivery where practical and appropriate. Buyers may be contacted directly with relevant shipping or handling information where needed.
For Premium Prints fulfilled through external print-on-demand production or fulfilment partners, tracking information may be supplied through the website, ecommerce system, fulfilment provider, courier, or order notification system where available.
Tracking updates are controlled by the relevant carrier or fulfilment provider and may not always update in real time.
5. Customer responsibility for shipping details
Customers are responsible for providing accurate and complete shipping information at checkout.
This includes the recipient name, delivery address, apartment or unit number, postcode, country, email address, and phone number where required.
If incorrect or incomplete shipping information is provided, delivery may be delayed, returned, lost, misdirected, or unsuccessful. If an order has already entered production, fulfilment, or shipping, we may not be able to change the delivery details.
Additional costs caused by incorrect or incomplete customer shipping information may be the responsibility of the customer. This may include replacement production, duplicate shipping, redelivery, return fees, or other non-recoverable costs.
6. Domestic and international shipping
Shipping availability may vary by product and destination. Some products may be available for domestic and international shipping, while others may have restrictions depending on production, fulfilment, material, size, courier availability, or destination country.
If a product cannot be shipped to a particular destination, we may contact the customer to discuss available options, which may include cancellation, refund, alternative delivery arrangements, or another appropriate solution.
7. Customs, duties, and import charges
International orders may be subject to customs duties, import taxes, VAT, clearance fees, brokerage fees, or local charges imposed by the destination country.
Unless expressly stated otherwise, these charges are the responsibility of the customer and are not included in the product price or shipping cost.
Enigmatic Drawings is not responsible for customs delays, import inspections, local duties, taxes, fees, or charges imposed by customs authorities, carriers, or destination countries.
8. Delivery delays
Delays may occur for reasons outside our control, including postal delays, courier handling issues, customs processing, weather events, production delays, supply issues, public holidays, incorrect address information, or regional delivery limitations.
If a delay occurs, we will take reasonable steps to assist where practical. This may involve checking available tracking information, contacting a fulfilment provider, contacting a courier, or providing relevant order information to the customer.
A delay does not automatically mean that an order is lost or that a refund is available. Each situation will be assessed based on the product, fulfilment pathway, tracking information, delivery status, elapsed time, and applicable consumer rights.
9. Lost, missing, or undelivered orders
If an order appears lost, missing, or undelivered, contact info@enigmaticdrawings.com with your order number and delivery details.
We may need to review tracking information, contact the fulfilment provider, contact the courier, or request further details before determining the appropriate next step.
If an item cannot be supplied, cannot be delivered within a reasonable time, or is confirmed lost, the matter will be assessed in accordance with the order details, fulfilment pathway, carrier information, this Shipping Policy, the Refund Policy, and Australian Consumer Law.
10. Damaged parcels
If a parcel appears damaged on arrival, photograph the packaging before opening where possible.
If the item itself is damaged, defective, incorrect, or materially different from its description, contact info@enigmaticdrawings.com as soon as possible.
Please include:
- your full name;
- order number;
- tracking number, if available;
- photographs of the packaging;
- photographs of the shipping label, if relevant;
- photographs of the damaged item;
- a clear description of the issue; and
- any relevant delivery notes or courier information.
Please retain the item and packaging until the issue has been reviewed. Do not dispose of packaging before contacting us, as photographs and packaging details may be required for fulfilment, courier, insurance, production, or replacement assessment.
11. Authority to leave and unattended delivery
Some carriers may offer authority to leave, unattended delivery, collection points, parcel lockers, or alternative delivery arrangements.
If you choose or allow unattended delivery, authority to leave, parcel redirection, or another carrier-managed delivery option, the risk of loss, theft, weather exposure, or damage after delivery may increase.
Enigmatic Drawings is not responsible for delivery choices made directly with a carrier or courier once the parcel is in transit, except where responsibility cannot be excluded under applicable law.
12. Fine Art Limited Editions
Fine Art Limited Editions may require more careful preparation and handling than standard products.
Where practical, Fine Art Limited Edition buyers may receive direct communication about production, preparation, packaging, dispatch, tracking, or delivery details.
Shipping arrangements for Fine Art Limited Editions may vary depending on the artwork, size, destination, packaging requirements, printer, courier, insurance options, and handling needs.
We will aim to package and ship Fine Art Limited Editions with appropriate care, but delivery timeframes remain estimates unless expressly agreed in writing.
13. Premium Prints
Premium Prints may be fulfilled through external print-on-demand production or fulfilment partners. Production and shipping may be managed partly or entirely through those fulfilment systems.
Shipping methods, tracking, production location, courier selection, delivery estimates, packaging, and dispatch timing may depend on the fulfilment provider and the product selected.
Because Premium Prints may enter production quickly, address changes and shipping changes may not be possible once the order has been submitted.
14. Australian Consumer Law
Nothing in this Shipping Policy excludes, restricts, or modifies any consumer rights, guarantees, remedies, or protections that cannot be excluded under Australian Consumer Law.
If a product is not supplied, cannot be supplied, is damaged, is defective, is not of acceptable quality, is materially different from its description, or otherwise fails to meet a consumer guarantee, you may be entitled to a remedy under Australian Consumer Law.
Depending on the circumstances, this may include repair, replacement, refund, cancellation, compensation, or another appropriate solution required by law.
