Accessibility Statement
Last updated: 26 May 2026
Enigmatic Drawings aims to make this website clear, usable, and accessible for visitors, collectors, researchers, and members of the public.
The website contains artwork, image galleries, written descriptions, drawing analysis, AI-assisted interpretation, product pages, policy pages, blog material, and shop content. Some parts of the website involve visually detailed artworks, symbolic imagery, large image files, embedded content, ecommerce tools, and third-party platform features.
Accessibility contact: If you experience difficulty accessing any part of this website, contact info@enigmaticdrawings.com. Where reasonable and practical, we will try to provide the information in another format or assist you directly.
1. Accessibility commitment
Enigmatic Drawings is committed to improving website accessibility over time. The aim is to provide a website that is readable, navigable, understandable, and usable across different devices, browsers, and access needs.
Accessibility improvements may include clearer navigation, stronger colour contrast, descriptive headings, readable text structure, image descriptions, alt text, simplified policy pages, improved page organisation, and better support for assistive technologies where practical.
2. Accessibility standards
The website is being developed and improved with reference to recognised accessibility principles, including the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines, commonly known as WCAG.
WCAG provides guidance for making web content more accessible to people with disabilities, including people with visual, auditory, physical, speech, cognitive, language, learning, and neurological disabilities.
The website has not yet been formally audited for full WCAG compliance. For that reason, Enigmatic Drawings does not claim full conformance with any specific WCAG level at this stage.
3. Current accessibility measures
The site currently aims to support accessibility through measures such as:
- clear page headings and section headings;
- plain-language policy pages;
- high-contrast dark page design for policy content;
- descriptive text for key pages, artworks, and products where practical;
- consistent navigation and footer structure;
- accessible link text where possible;
- responsive layouts for desktop, tablet, and mobile viewing;
- ongoing addition of alt text for important images;
- ongoing SEO and AI visibility improvements that also support clearer page structure; and
- contact options for visitors who need assistance.
4. Artwork images and visual complexity
Enigmatic Drawings includes highly detailed symbolic, geometric, and consciousness-based artworks. Some drawings contain dense line work, complex structures, small symbols, layered forms, and intricate colour or pattern systems.
Because the artworks are visually complex, not every image description can fully communicate every detail, symbol, structure, or interpretive layer. Where practical, the website may provide supporting descriptions, drawing analysis, plain-English explanations, alt text, captions, enlarged views, image sections, or written context.
Visitors who need a clearer explanation of a drawing, product, page, or image may contact info@enigmaticdrawings.com.
5. Known limitations
Some parts of the website may not yet be fully accessible. Known or possible limitations include:
- some older images may not yet have complete alt text;
- some complex artwork images may require longer explanations than standard alt text can reasonably provide;
- some third-party ecommerce, payment, analytics, embedded, or social media features may have accessibility limitations outside our direct control;
- some product images, mockups, or gallery images may not yet have fully detailed descriptions;
- some older page sections may need further formatting, heading, contrast, or structure improvements;
- some PDFs, downloads, screenshots, or legacy files may not be fully accessible; and
- some visual artwork details may be difficult to convey without additional written explanation.
These limitations will be reviewed and improved progressively where practical.
6. Third-party platforms and embedded services
This website may use third-party services for ecommerce, payments, print fulfilment, shipping, analytics, email subscriptions, embedded media, social media, website hosting, or other functionality.
Accessibility of third-party systems may depend on the relevant provider. Enigmatic Drawings does not fully control the accessibility, design, interface, technical behaviour, updates, or compatibility of third-party platforms.
If you experience an accessibility issue with a third-party feature while using this website, contact us and we will review whether there is a practical way to assist or provide alternative information.
7. Alternative formats
If you cannot access particular information on the website, you may request assistance or an alternative format.
Depending on the request, practical alternatives may include:
- a plain-text explanation;
- a direct email response;
- a simplified product summary;
- a clearer description of an artwork or section;
- assistance locating a page, policy, product, or analysis section;
- additional written context for a drawing or image; or
- another reasonable format where practical.
Requests can be sent to info@enigmaticdrawings.com.
8. Ongoing improvements
Enigmatic Drawings is being developed and refined progressively. Accessibility improvements may be made as pages are updated, products are added, artwork descriptions are expanded, alt text is created, and the website structure is improved.
Current and future work may include improving metadata, adding image alt text, refining page layouts, strengthening contrast, simplifying navigation, improving footer links, clarifying policy pages, and creating better written descriptions for complex artwork images.
9. Feedback and contact
Accessibility feedback is welcome. If you encounter a barrier, please provide enough information for the issue to be reviewed.
Helpful details include:
- the page or URL where the issue occurred;
- what you were trying to do;
- what went wrong;
- the device, browser, or assistive technology you were using, if relevant;
- any screenshot or description of the issue, if practical; and
- the format or assistance you need.
