This Copyright & Image Use Policy applies to all artwork, images, text, descriptions, drawing analysis, AI-assisted analysis, product content, website content, photographs, graphics, logos, and related project material published on the Enigmatic Drawings website or associated Enigmatic Drawings channels.

Enigmatic Drawings is the artwork and project platform of George Allan. For copyright, licensing, permission, image use, publication, media, research, or commercial enquiries, contact info@enigmaticdrawings.com.

1. Ownership

Unless otherwise stated in writing, all original artworks, drawings, artwork images, written descriptions, drawing analysis, AI-assisted analysis, product descriptions, page text, website content, logos, graphics, layouts, and related project material are owned by George Allan / Enigmatic Drawings.

Copyright and related intellectual property rights remain with George Allan / Enigmatic Drawings. Buying a print, limited edition, premium print, product, download, or other item does not transfer copyright or grant permission to reproduce, modify, distribute, publish, commercially use, or create derivative works from the artwork or related material.

2. Protected material

Protected material includes, but is not limited to:

• original drawings and artworks;
• Fine Art Limited Edition images;
• Premium Print images;
• colour variants, derivative versions, sectional formats, and detail images;
• photographs of artworks, exhibitions, installations, and print products;
• website banners, product images, mockups, and social media images;
• drawing titles, series names, descriptions, and product names;
• basic, expanded, and plain-English drawing analysis;
• AI-assisted drawing analysis and interpretive material;
• blog posts, page text, captions, alt text, and marketing text;
• logos, branding, graphics, and design elements;
• website structure, layout, and compiled page content; and
• any other Enigmatic Drawings material published online or offline.

3. No transfer of rights

Purchasing an artwork, Fine Art Limited Edition, Premium Print, derivative print, or any other product gives the buyer ownership of that physical item only, subject to the terms of sale.

The purchase does not include copyright, reproduction rights, publishing rights, licensing rights, digital use rights, merchandising rights, commercial rights, AI training rights, NFT rights, or any right to create derivative works.

Collectors and buyers may display the physical artwork or print they purchased for personal, private, domestic, or agreed display purposes, but may not reproduce or commercially exploit it without written permission.

4. Prohibited uses

You must not use Enigmatic Drawings material without prior written permission for any of the following:

• copying or reproducing artworks, images, or written content;
• printing, manufacturing, or producing copies of any artwork or image;
• selling, licensing, distributing, or publishing copies;
• editing, recolouring, cropping, modifying, adapting, or remixing artworks for public or commercial use;
• creating derivative artworks, designs, prints, merchandise, posters, apparel, cards, decor, or digital products;
• using artwork or images in advertising, marketing, branding, packaging, publications, campaigns, presentations, apps, websites, or commercial projects;
• using artwork or images as album covers, book covers, event posters, profile branding, logos, or identity material;
• minting, tokenising, registering, or selling images as NFTs, blockchain assets, digital collectibles, or similar digital assets;
• scraping, crawling, harvesting, downloading, bulk-saving, or systematically collecting website content;
• adding images, text, descriptions, analysis, or project material to datasets;
• using material for AI training, machine learning, model development, image generation systems, style transfer, fine-tuning, prompt libraries, embeddings, or synthetic media datasets;
• claiming ownership, authorship, endorsement, partnership, or affiliation;
• removing, cropping out, covering, altering, or obscuring signatures, watermarks, credits, captions, or copyright notices; or
• using the material in any misleading, defamatory, unlawful, exploitative, or damaging context.

5. AI training, scraping, and dataset use

Enigmatic Drawings does not grant permission for any artwork, image, text, analysis, description, caption, product content, page content, metadata, or related project material to be scraped, copied, harvested, indexed, reproduced, extracted, downloaded, or incorporated into datasets for artificial intelligence, machine learning, image generation, language models, computer vision, style transfer, synthetic media, or related automated systems.

This restriction applies to commercial, academic, research, private, experimental, non-profit, platform, institutional, and automated uses unless prior written permission has been granted.

Automated access, bulk downloading, dataset collection, model training, fine-tuning, image-to-image processing, prompt extraction, style imitation, or synthetic derivative generation using Enigmatic Drawings material is prohibited without written permission.

6. Limited personal sharing

Limited sharing of Enigmatic Drawings material may be acceptable for personal, non-commercial discussion where the use is lawful, proportionate, properly credited, and does not reproduce high-resolution files or imply ownership, permission, partnership, endorsement, or commercial rights.

Examples may include sharing a link to the website, sharing an official social media post, or referring to the artwork in personal discussion with clear credit to Enigmatic Drawings / George Allan.

This limited allowance does not permit printing, selling, editing, uploading high-resolution files, creating derivative works, using images for products, scraping content, dataset use, AI training, or commercial publication.

7. Editorial, review, research, or commentary use

Journalists, researchers, writers, educators, reviewers, curators, institutions, and media platforms should contact info@enigmaticdrawings.com before using images or substantial written material.

Permission may be considered for editorial, review, academic, curatorial, exhibition, or research purposes, subject to context, image size, credit, placement, duration, format, and intended use.

Any approved use must include appropriate credit and may require a specific image file, caption, link, copyright notice, licence conditions, or written usage agreement.

8. Social media use

You may share official Enigmatic Drawings posts using the normal sharing tools provided by the relevant social media platform, provided the post remains linked to the original account or source and is not altered in a misleading or unauthorised way.

You may not download Enigmatic Drawings images from social media and re-upload them as your own content, remove credit, use them commercially, add them to products, claim authorship, or use them to promote unrelated goods, services, events, beliefs, campaigns, or organisations without written permission.

Reposting may be acceptable where proper credit is given, the use is non-commercial, and the original source is clearly linked or tagged. However, reposting does not grant any copyright licence or commercial rights.

9. Pinterest and image-sharing platforms

Enigmatic Drawings may publish artwork images and related content on Pinterest or similar image-sharing platforms for discovery, promotion, commentary, and project visibility.

Saving, pinning, or sharing an official Enigmatic Drawings image through platform tools does not grant permission to reproduce, print, sell, modify, extract, scrape, download, commercially use, train AI systems on, or create derivative works from the image.

Any Pinterest or image-sharing use should preserve attribution, source links, and the identity of Enigmatic Drawings / George Allan.

10. Website links

You may link to public pages on the Enigmatic Drawings website, provided the link is not misleading, unlawful, defamatory, exploitative, or presented in a way that falsely suggests endorsement, affiliation, sponsorship, partnership, or permission.

You may not frame, embed, mirror, clone, scrape, or reproduce the website or its content in a way that substitutes for visiting the original Enigmatic Drawings website.

11. Image previews and low-resolution images

Images published on the website or social media may be resized, compressed, watermarked, cropped, or adapted for online viewing, promotion, accessibility, or product presentation.

The availability of a low-resolution preview, compressed image, product mockup, social image, or website image does not grant permission to copy, reproduce, print, alter, sell, distribute, or commercially use that image.

12. Derivative works and colour variants

Enigmatic Drawings may include derivative works, colour variants, detail sections, sectional formats, image crops, alternative renderings, and other related versions of original drawings.

These derivative versions and variants are also protected. They may not be copied, edited, reproduced, sold, printed, remixed, used as templates, or used to create new derivative works without written permission.

13. Commercial licensing

Commercial use of Enigmatic Drawings material always requires prior written permission.

Commercial use may include use in publications, media, merchandise, exhibitions, campaigns, documentaries, educational products, commercial websites, advertising, product design, interior design projects, licensing arrangements, institutional presentations, or any use connected to promotion, sale, revenue, business, branding, or organisational activity.

Licensing terms, if approved, may depend on the artwork, image size, format, territory, duration, purpose, placement, exclusivity, attribution, and fee.

14. Permission requests

Permission is not granted unless confirmed in writing. Silence, delayed response, public availability, prior sharing, social media visibility, or website publication does not imply permission.

16. Unauthorised use

Unauthorised use may also be reported to website hosts, ecommerce platforms, social media platforms, search engines, payment processors, marketplace operators, domain registrars, or other relevant services.

17. No waiver

Failure to act immediately against unauthorised use does not waive copyright, moral rights, intellectual property rights, licensing rights, or any other rights held by George Allan / Enigmatic Drawings.

Any permission granted for one use does not create permission for any other use, future use, different format, different platform, commercial use, AI use, derivative use, or third-party use.

18. Moral rights and attribution

George Allan asserts moral rights in the artworks and related creative material, including the right to be attributed as creator and the right not to have the work falsely attributed or treated in a derogatory way.

Approved use must not distort, misrepresent, damage, or present the work in a way that is misleading, derogatory, exploitative, or inconsistent with the approved context.
