This original work is created in watercolour and gouache on 300gsm watercolour paper. The circular mandala has been individually cut around the outer edge and floated approximately 5mm above the backing surface, creating a subtle shadow and dimensional effect within the frame.
This piece features a calm blue-green colour field, with soft teal, pale green, blue-grey and darker inner blue tones moving through the circular structure. The overall effect is quiet, balanced and meditative, with the intricate hand-worked pattern creating a strong sense of rhythm, depth and visual movement.
