Original Crochet Web Mandala — Coral, Lime, Teal & Magenta
One of the final remaining original Crochet Web Mandalas by Chelsea Hopkins-Allan.
Chelsea no longer produces works from this series, making the remaining framed originals a limited opportunity to acquire one of the last Crochet Web Mandalas in this distinctive format.
Created in watercolour and gouache on 300gsm watercolour paper, the circular mandala has been individually cut around its outer edge and floated approximately 5mm above the backing surface. This creates a subtle shadow and dimensional effect within the frame.
The composition features broad outer bands of coral surrounding concentric rings of lime green, teal and turquoise, with a vivid magenta centre providing a strong focal point. The bright, balanced palette gives the work a lively, uplifting and harmonious character.
The intricate hand-worked pattern creates a strong sense of rhythm, depth and visual movement. The combination of warm coral and pink tones with fresh greens and cool blues gives the work a lively, uplifting and harmonious character.
The mandala is presented in a custom-made, archival-quality white floating box frame under clear-view glass. Its clean contemporary presentation makes it suitable for residential interiors, offices, reception areas, accommodation, hospitality, wellness spaces and gallery-style display.
