Original Crochet Web Mandala — Seafoam, Mint, Teal & Silver
One of the final remaining original Crochet Web Mandalas by Chelsea Hopkins-Allan.
Chelsea no longer produces works from this series, making the remaining framed originals a limited opportunity to acquire one of the last Crochet Web Mandalas in this distinctive format.
Created in watercolour and gouache on 300gsm watercolour paper, the circular mandala has been individually cut around its outer edge and floated approximately 5mm above the backing surface. This creates a subtle shadow and dimensional effect within the frame.
The composition features a restrained palette of seafoam, mint green, teal and aqua, surrounded by soft silver-grey and pale cool grey tones. The gentle tonal transitions and intricate hand-worked pattern create a calm, airy and meditative character, with subtle rhythm, depth and visual movement.
The mandala is presented in a custom-made, archival-quality white floating box frame under non-reflective glass. The specialised glazing reduces distracting reflections and allows the artwork’s colour, detail and dimensional presentation to be viewed more clearly.
Its clean contemporary presentation makes it suitable for residential interiors, offices, reception areas, accommodation, hospitality, wellness spaces and gallery-style display.
