Crochet Web Mandala No. 18 is a vibrant circular composition by Chelsea Hopkins-Allan, constructed from hundreds of repeated marks arranged in finely balanced concentric rings.
The palette moves outward from a raspberry and deep-pink centre through bands of golden yellow, pale aqua, turquoise, teal, cobalt blue, olive, sage and mint green, before expanding into broad outer rings of coral, rose, magenta and rich pink.
The small variations within each repeated mark preserve the organic, hand-rendered character of the original artwork, while the radiating circular structure creates a strong sense of rhythm, movement and meditative balance. Generous white space around the composition allows the pattern and colour relationships to remain clear and visually distinct.
The reproduction is presented in a custom-made white timber frame with a broad white mat raised approximately 5 mm above the print, creating subtle depth and a recessed presentation. Premium-grade acrylic glazing protects the work while keeping the framed piece lighter and safer to handle than glass.
