Genesis #12 is one of the most composed face-centred works within First Series — Genesis, placing a frontal human face at the centre of a highly structured geometric and symbolic field.
Four major surrounding chambers are distributed around the central face, each containing dense script-like and symbolic material. A distinct eye-like form appears above the face, while diagonal lines, circular nodes and intersecting geometric structures connect the surrounding fields into a coherent whole.
Compared with the stronger concentric structure of Genesis #8 and the cross-like organisation of Genesis #9, Genesis #12 develops a more integrated and balanced architecture in which the central face remains clearly readable while multiple surrounding fields are held in relation to it.
This archival giclée fine-art reproduction preserves the precise monochrome linework and intricate symbolic detail of the original drawing.
