Genesis #13 — Derivative is a colour interpretation based on the thirteenth drawing from First Series — Genesis.
A central frontal human figure anchors the composition within a large enclosing circular field. The body is organised around a strong vertical sequence of circular forms, while broad symmetrical structures extend outward and upward on either side of the figure. Above the head, an intricate geometric crown rises toward a small eye-like form at the apex.
This derivative introduces a soft layered palette of pale green, cream, yellow, coral, blue and violet behind the original linework, creating a lighter and more atmospheric interpretation of the Genesis structure.
The combination of precise figurative and geometric drawing with the loosely layered colour field gives the work a distinctly different character from the original monochrome Genesis #13 while retaining its central human form and overall symbolic architecture.
This aluminium version was produced as a display/sample piece and is presented as a lightweight, ready-to-hang artwork.
