Genesis #17 is one of the major synthesis works of First Series — Genesis. At the centre of the composition are two complete human figures — male on the left and female on the right — joined at the hip and sacral region within a large circular field.

Around the figures are layered bands of script-bearing circles, clustered forms, planetary and orbital motifs, Earth-related structures and geometric centres. Larger geometric structures appear at the outer left and right, while braided and helical forms extend through the surrounding field. Together, these elements create a highly integrated landscape composition in which human polarity, geometry, planetary imagery and the wider symbolic field are brought together within a single structure.

The broad landscape format gives the joined figures and surrounding circular architecture substantial visual presence, while the warm cream background and precise black linework allow the intricate detail to remain clear across the full width of the work.
