Genesis #9 is a highly structured work within First Series — Genesis, placing a frontal human face at the centre of a larger geometric and symbolic field.
The face sits at the intersection of strong vertical and horizontal axes, with four large circular mandala-like structures positioned around the corners of the composition. Fine diagonal connections extend between these outer structures and the central field, while smaller circular glyphs, script-like markings and additional arcs create a densely interconnected visual system.
The composition develops the Genesis sequence beyond the concentric architecture of Genesis #8, presenting the human face as a central point through which multiple surrounding fields appear to converge.
This archival giclée fine-art reproduction preserves the precise monochrome linework and intricate symbolic detail of the original drawing.
