Mini Crochet Web Mandala No. 13 is an original work by Chelsea Hopkins-Allan, combining concentric hand-painted structures with a restrained but varied palette of burgundy, coral, aqua, grey, periwinkle and muted ochre.

The composition develops outward from a tightly structured burgundy centre through broader bands of grey, warm coral and cool aqua. Alternating rings of colour create a measured radial rhythm, while the subtle variation in the hand-painted marks preserves the organic quality of the original work.

The circular artwork has been individually cut and float-mounted approximately 5 mm above the stark-white backing, allowing a delicate shadow to form around its edge and giving the work additional visual depth within the handmade white box frame.

Chelsea Hopkins-Allan’s original Mini Crochet Web Mandalas have been discontinued and no further originals in this format are being produced. This is one of the final remaining framed examples held in the Enigmatic Drawings Art Display Stock collection.

This artwork forms part of the Enigmatic Drawings Art Display Stock Sale collection.

Photography note: The photographs show the actual artwork and frame. The frame and backing are white. Ambient lighting, reflections through the glazing, camera white balance and image processing can affect the apparent colour balance and brightness of the artwork in photographs. The physical artwork is clearer and more naturally balanced when viewed directly.
