Origins — Cobalt is a cropped near-square colour derivative from Third Series — Origins, concentrating the intricate circular architecture and symbolic density of the larger composition into a richly saturated format.

The work is dominated by cobalt, ultramarine and deep navy blue, illuminated by turquoise, cyan, violet, magenta and white. A large central circular structure contains layered orbital and atom-like geometries, surrounded by successive fields of smaller circles, symbols and finely repeated forms. Bright turquoise helix-like structures extend inward from the edges and corners, visually connecting the central formation with the densely populated surrounding field.

From a distance, the composition reads as a luminous geometric mandala. At closer range, it reveals script-bearing circles, recurring geometric structures and numerous finely layered details. These elements reflect the wider visual language of Origins, whose original composition is built around concentric generation, script-filled circular units, helical structures and corner vortices.

This particular 59.5 × 63 cm framed canvas presentation has now been discontinued. This is one of the final framed display-stock examples, and no further examples will be produced in this particular canvas-and-framing format.

Photography note: Product photographs show the actual framed display-stock artwork. Ambient lighting, camera settings and viewing angle may affect apparent colour and contrast. The physical canvas is more vibrant and detailed when viewed directly.
