Origins — Cobalt is a richly coloured interpretation of the Origins drawing, dominated by cobalt, ultramarine and deep navy blue, with turquoise, cyan, violet, magenta and white providing contrast and illumination.

The composition is organised around a large concentric central formation surrounded by dense fields of circular structures, script-like markings, geometric forms and repeated symbolic elements. Helix-like structures extend inward from the edges and corners, visually linking the central formation with the surrounding field.

At close range, the work reveals an intricate network of layered circular systems, fine repeated forms and script-bearing structures. From a distance, these elements combine into a highly unified and luminous composition.

This smaller framed version retains the complexity and visual intensity of Origins while offering the work in a compact format suited to a smaller wall or grouped display.

The floating frame provides clean visual separation around the canvas and gives the work a contemporary presentation.

Photography note: Product photographs show the actual framed display-stock artwork. Ambient lighting, camera settings and viewing angle may affect apparent colour and contrast. The physical canvas is more vibrant and detailed when viewed directly.
