Origins is the third and final major series within the Enigmatic Drawings trilogy. Where Genesis develops through consciousness, body, symbol and cosmological structure, and Matrix presents a dense architecture of embodiment, polarity and information, Origins shifts the visual language toward a radiant field of emergence.

At the centre of the composition is a large concentric circular formation containing a pale geometric rosette or flower-like nucleus surrounded by a luminous yellow-gold ring. This central structure acts visually as the stabilising source of the composition, with the surrounding field appearing to radiate and organise outward from it.

Across the drawing is an extensive field of circles at many different scales. These contain script, small geometric structures, orbital forms and densely patterned internal systems. The repeated circular structures can suggest different scales simultaneously — microscopic, cellular, planetary or cosmological — while remaining part of one integrated visual field.

Helical and chained structures move through the composition, introducing continuity and directional movement, while the four corner vortices create strong rotational activity around the outer field. Larger planetary and galactic forms extend the sense of scale beyond the central system.

Unlike Genesis and Matrix, Origins contains no human figure. The composition is centred instead on a field of structure, pattern and emergence. Its strong radial balance, concentric organisation, modular repetition, nodal clustering and vortical movement give the work a highly ordered architecture despite its expansive and luminous character.

The original colour treatment is dominated by gold and yellow, with restrained accents of green, orange, red and cooler tones. This gives Origins a markedly different visual character from the monochromatic Genesis drawings and the more segmented colour architecture of Matrix. :contentReference[oaicite:2]{index=2}

At 112 × 140 cm, this large-format canvas presentation provides sufficient scale to appreciate the complete composition while also revealing the extensive script, geometric structures, circles, helical forms and smaller internal systems throughout the work.

The archival canvas is supplied unframed and rolled, making it substantially easier and safer to transport within Australia and internationally. It can be professionally stretched and framed locally according to the purchaser’s preferred presentation.

This artwork forms part of the Enigmatic Drawings Art Display Stock Sale collection.

Photography note: Product images may include clean reproductions of Origins together with photographs of framed or installed examples where available. Any framed images are provided to demonstrate scale and presentation possibilities only. The artwork offered here is supplied unframed and rolled. Ambient lighting, reflections and viewing angle may affect apparent colour and contrast in installation photographs. The physical canvas contains substantially finer detail than can be reproduced on screen.
